Replacing or cleaning the gears on a G20 pump can be pretty straight forward if you use this guide.

- Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
- Remove the cover plate with 5 mm hex wrench, then take the o-ring and gears out of the pump cavity.
- Inspect the gears (part number 162501-01) for wear or damage
- Start reassembly by cleaning the gears and cavity with a clean cloth
- Coat the o-ring with light grease and reinstall it in its groove outside the pump cavity
- Replace the gears and make sure they turn freely
- Reinstall the cover plate onto the pump housing. Make sure the o-ring is seated correctly before tightening the cover plate into place
