Cleaning or replacing the strainer in your GPI G20 Pump can be done in 8 steps.

- Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
- Remove the strainer cover plate with a 5 mm hex wrench, then remove the o-ring and inlet strainer
- Inspect o-ring and strainer for damage or clogs
- Clean the strainer with a soft bristled brush and solvent. Compressed air may be used for extremely dirty strainers
- Clean the cover plate and the o-ring
- Lightly coat the o-ring with grease and reinstall within its groove
- Reinsert the strainer back in place.
- Reinstall the pump cover plate. Make sure the o-ring is properly seated before tightening in place
