Clean or replace the strainer in your GPI M150 Pump in eight steps.
Replace the strainer within a GPI M150 Fuel Transfer Pump quickly with the video above or the walkthrough below. Remember to wear properly fitting PPE when doing this task!
- Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
- Remove the strainer cover plate with a Phillips screwdriver
- Use a flathead screw driver to remove the strainer assembly
- Remove the inlet strainer (part number 110504-1) and inspect for damage or clogs. Replace if needed
- Clean the strainer with a soft bristled brush and solvent
- To reassemble, place the strainer back into its cavity
- Remove the o-ring, lightly coat it with grease and reinstall securely into its groove
- Secure the strainer access cover plate back in place. Make sure the o-ring is properly seated before tightening in place
