How to Clean or Replace Strainer On A GPRO PRO20/PRO35 Fuel Transfer Pump

Clean or replace the strainer in your GPRO PRO20/PRO35 Pump in eight steps.

  1. Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
  2. Remove the strainer access cover with a 1/2" hex wrench
  3. Use a flathead screw driver to remove the strainer assembly
  4. Inspect the assembly (part number 121013-503) for damage or clogs. Replace if needed
  5. Clean the strainer with a soft bristled brush and solvent
  6. Remove the o-ring and lightly coat it with grease
  7. Reinstall the strainer into its slot and the o-ring securely into its groove
  8. Secure the strainer access cover back in its place. Make sure the o-ring is properly seated before tightening in place
