Here's nine steps you need to do to clean or replace the strainer in your GPRO V25 Pump
Need a quick walkthrough on how to replace or clean the strainer inside the GPRO V25 Fuel Transfer Pump. Remember to wear properly fitting PPE when doing this task!
- Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
- Remove the strainer access cover with a 6 mm Allen key
- Use a o-ring removal tool and a flathead screw driver to remove the o-ring and strainer assembly
- Inspect the assembly (part number 170211-501) for damage or clogs. Replace if needed
- Clean the strainer with a soft bristled brush and solvent, or use compressed air
- Lightly coat the o-ring with grease
- Re-insert the strainer into its slot and the o-ring securely into its groove
- Secure the strainer access in case. Make sure the o-ring is properly seated before tightening in place
