How to Clean or Replace Strainer On A GPRO V25 Fuel Transfer Pump

Here's nine steps you need to do to clean or replace the strainer in your GPRO V25 Pump

Need a quick walkthrough on how to replace or clean the strainer inside the GPRO V25 Fuel Transfer Pump. Remember to wear properly fitting PPE when doing this task!

  1. Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
  2. Remove the strainer access cover with a 6 mm Allen key
  3. Use a o-ring removal tool and a flathead screw driver to remove the o-ring and strainer assembly
  4. Inspect the assembly (part number 170211-501) for damage or clogs. Replace if needed
  5. Clean the strainer with a soft bristled brush and solvent, or use compressed air
  6. Lightly coat the o-ring with grease
  7. Re-insert the strainer into its slot and the o-ring securely into its groove
  8. Secure the strainer access in case. Make sure the o-ring is properly seated before tightening in place
