All of these are easy to install on a FR700 series pump if you follow these directions.
Deck out your Fill-Rite FR700 Series pump with a filter kit, swivel and nozzle in just 13 simple steps.
- Remove the port plug
- Select one of the supplied elbows and apply thread sealant to it
- Insert the elbow into the top port where the plug was
- It may be beneficial to use a long pipe nipple to get the filter out farther away from the pump. With whatever nipple you are using, put sealant tape on both ends and thread it into the elbow
- Attach the filter head. Take note of where the arrow is on the head and have it point away from the pump
- Put sealant tape on both sides of the remaining nipple and thread into the final elbow
- Install the final elbow and nipple to the outlet of the filter head
- Put a thin film of lubricating oil on gasket on the top of the filter
- Thread filter onto the filter head. Once gasket touches, go 3/4 of a turn more to ensure filter is sealed
- Apply thread sealant to both ends of the hose and thread one end into the elbow. Turn the hose until it is hand tight, use a wrench to go 1.5 to 3 turns more.
- Thread the swivel to the other end of the hose until it is hand tight, followed by tightening it securely with a wrench
- Apply thread sealant onto the open end of the swivel
- Thread the nozzle on to the swivel. Turn until it is hand tight, then use a wrench to secure
