How To Install A GPI Filter Kit On A EZ-8 Fuel Transfer Pump

Easily install a GPI filter kit to your Direct Mount or Spin Collar EZ-8 Pump.


Install your GPI Filter Kit to your EZ-8 pump in the steps listed out below.


For Direct Mount EZ-8 pumps

  1. Add thread tape to all threaded parts of the pump, hoses, suction pipes and adapters.
  2. Install the gasket suction pipe on the pump
  3. Extend the suction pipe to its full length
  4. Thread the pump directly onto the tank.
  5. Attach the street elbow to the pump
  6. Attach the 3/4" nipple to the street elbow
  7. Attach the inlet port of the filter adapter to the pipe nipple
  8. Thread the fuel filter into the adapter
  9. Thread the hose into the outlet of the fuel adapter port. Tighten in place.
  10. Attach your nozzle to the open end of the hose

For spin collar EZ-8 pumps

  1. Add thread tape to all threaded parts of the pump, hoses, suction pipes and adapters.
  2. Tightly install the included bung adapter on the fuel tank
  3. Install the gasket and suction pipe on the pump.
  4. Extend the suction pipe to its full length
  5. Install the pump on the bung adapter
  6. Tighten down the spin collar
  7. Attach the street elbow to the pump
  8. Attach the 3/4" nipple to the street elbow
  9. Attach the inlet port of the filter adapter to the pipe nipple
  10. Thread the fuel filter into the adapter
  11. Thread the hose into the outlet of the fuel adapter port. Tighten in place.
  12. Attach your nozzle to the open end of the hose
