How To Install A GPI M30 Mechanical Fuel Meter and Filter Kit Installation To A G20 Fuel Transfer Pump

M30 Fuel Meter + GPI Fuel Filter Kit + GPI G20 Fuel Transfer Pump = Easy install process


Have a GPI G20 Fuel Transfer Pump, an M30 Fuel Meter and a GPI Fuel Filter Kit? Here is how to install them together.

Installing a M30 Fuel Meter and a GPI Filter Kit on a G20 Fuel Transfer Pump

  1. Add thread tape to all threaded parts of the pump, hoses, suction pipes and adapters.
  2. Tightly install the included bung adapter on the fuel tank
  3. Install the gasket and suction pipe on the pump
  4. Extend the suction pipe to its full length
  5. Install the pump on the bung adapter
  6. Tighten down the spin collar
  7. Attach the nozzle holder to the back of the pump using a 4 mm hex wrench
  8. Install the o-ring to the pump outlet
  9. Install the quick fit filter adapter to the pump outlet using a 5 mm hex wrench
  10. Install the fuel filter and o-ring onto the filter adapter
  11. Attach the M30 Meter to the outlet port of the filter adapter with a 10 mm crescent wrench
  12. Attach the hose to the hose adapter
  13. Install the o-ring and hose adapter onto the outlet port of the M30 meter with a 5 mm hex wrench
  14. Tighten the hose into the adapter to prevent leaks and drips
  15. Attach your nozzle to the hose
