How To Install A GPRO QM40 Fuel Meter and Filter On A V25 Fuel Transfer Pump

We've listed out a step-by-step on how to install a GPI QM40 Fuel Meter and a GPI Filter Kit onto a GPRO V25 Fuel Transfer Pump. If you already have the pump installed, feel free to skip down to step 6.

Installing a GPRO V25 Fuel Transfer Pump with a QM40 Fuel Meter and GPI Filter Kit

  1. Add thread tape to all threaded parts of the pump, hoses, suction pipes and adapters.
  2. Install the included bung adapter on the suction pipe and extend suction pipe to its full length
  3. Tightly install the bung adapter on the fuel tank.
  4. Install the pump on the bung adapter
  5. Attach the nozzle holder to the pump using a 4 mm hex wrench
  6. Install an o-ring to the pump outlet
  7. Install the quick fit filter adapter to the pump outlet using a 5 mm hex wrench
  8. Install the fuel filter and o-ring onto the adapter
  9. Use a 10 mm crescent wrench to install the QM40 meter onto the adapter outlet port
  10. Attach the hose to the hose adapter
  11. Place an o-ring onto the outlet of the QM40 meter
  12. Install the hose adapter onto the QM40 meter with a 5 mm hex wrench
  13. Tighten the hose into the adapter to prevent leaks and drips
  14. Attach your nozzle to the hose
