How To Install An Anti-Siphon Kit Onto Your Fill-Rite FR700 Series Fuel Transfer Pump

This post covers the installation of a anti-siphon kit on a FR700 Series pump

If you want to install an anti-siphon kit to your FR700 series Fill-Rite fuel pump, the video above or the walkthrough below can help you do that. If you use the walkthrough below, please pay attention to the bolded parts as they hold important notes to help your kit function as designed.

Anti-siphon kit installation:

  1. Use a 7/16" wrench to remove the port from the bung adapter
  2. Apply thread sealant to tapered end of on of the elbows in the kit. Do not put any thread sealant on other end of the elbow!
  3. Install the tapered end of the elbow into the bung adapter. Make sure the unthreaded end is pointed upward
  4. Install one end of the braided hose onto the upward pointed end of the elbow. This step does not need thread sealant because the hose end is a compression fitting
  5. Use a 9/16" wrench to tighten the hose
  6. Use a 5/16" Allen wrench to remove the port plug on the other side of the pump
  7. Remove the o-ring within the port plug and replace with the new o-ring from within the kit
  8. Install the anti-siphon adapter into the open port
  9. Apply thread sealant to tapered end of the second elbow in the kit. Do not put any thread sealant on other end of the elbow!
  10. Thread the elbow into the anti-siphon adapter. Make sure the unthreaded end is pointed downward
  11. Take other end of braided hose, thread the compression fitting on, and tighten in place on the unthreaded end of the downward facing elbow with a 9/16" wrench. Installation is finished
NOTE: You will need to have a continuous downward slope on the hose to ensure it functions properly
