How to install NX25 Series Shaft Seal Kit

WARNING: Relieve pump pressure and disconnect power before starting

Directions to Install NX25 Series Shaft Seal Kit

Disassembly of Rotor and Shaft Seal

1. Remove rotor cover, gasket, rotor, vanes, and rotor key
2. Remove old shaft seal assembly
3. Use snap ring pliers to remove snap ring
4. Use pliers or hooks to remove other pieces

Replacing Shaft Seal

1. Install pieces in following order
   1. Large o-ring
   2. Black carbon ring
   3. Stainless steel mating ring
   4. Small o-ring
   5. Washer
   6. Spring
   7. Washer
2. Use a deep impact socket to push pieces back
3. Use snap ring pliers to install snap ring

Replacing Rotor, Rotor Key, Vanes, and Cover Gasket

1. Slide the rotor onto the motor shaft
2. Align rotor with shaft and insert rotor key
3. Install vanes all facing the same direction
4. Place gasket in indentation, ensure it is properly seated
5. Install new rotor cover
