How To Replace The Power Switch On a GPI M150 Pump

If you need to switch out the power switch on your M150 pump, we have you covered.


Does your GPI M150 Fuel Transfer Pump need a new power switch? Here's some instructions on how to get the job done. Remember to wear properly fitting PPE when doing this task!

  1. Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
  2. Use a socket wrench to remove the cover plate from the pump housing
  3. Use a #20 Torx screwdriver or nut driver to remove the switch assembly from the cavity
  4. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew and disconnect the pump wires from their terminals
  5. To reassemble, connect the pump wires to the terminals on the new switch (part numbers: 110277-505, 110227-506, 110277-507). Make sure the correct wires are connecting to each terminals, then use the screws to tighten in place
  6. Reinsert the switch into the cavity and screw into place
  7. Remove the o-ring from the cover plate and coat lightly with grease, then place it back into its grooves
  8. Reinstall the cover plate. Make sure the the electrical switch aligns inside the switch actuator on the inside of the cover plate. Ensure the o-ring inside the cover plate is properly aligned before tightening in place
