How To Replace The Power Switch On a GPRO V25 Fuel Transfer Pump

You have the power to switch out the power switch.


Switch out the power switch on a GPRO V25 pump with this walkthrough or video. Remember to wear properly fitting PPE when doing this task!

  1. Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
  2. Remove the nozzle cover with a 4 mm hex wrench
  3. Remove the six bolts on the switch cover plate using a 5 mm hex wrench
  4. Remove the screw from the switch bracket and pull the switch from the switch cavity
  5. Unscrew and unplug the wires on the switch from their terminals. Take note of which wires go where for when you install the next power switch
  6. Remove both of the screws that hold the switch and switch bracket (part numbers: 902010-525, 902010-531) together
  7. To reassemble, use the screws to attach the switch bracket to the switch you are going to use
  8. Reattach the wires to the switch bracket in their proper places
  9. Reinstall the switch assembly into the pump cavity
  10. Reinstall the switch cover plate. Make sure the the electrical switch aligns inside the switch actuator on the inside of the cover plate
  11. Reattach the nozzle holder and tighten all bolts securely
