- Close the main tank and padlock the handle shut
- Connect a water tank to the 2" stainless part F on the inlet side of pump. WARNING: Do not connect city water or a freshwater well to this as contamination will occur to your fresh water supply.
- Fill the water tank with at least 15 gallons of 50/50 antifreeze and water mixture
- Open the pump inlet valves to purge air from the system before starting the pump. WARNING: All air must be removed or pump seal failure will occur.
- Connect the discharge hose valve to a rinsate tank for proper disposal of chemical
- Start pump and slowly open the discharge valve
- Once chemical has been removed and all lines are full of antifreeze, turn off the pump, close the pump inlet valves and dispose of the rinsate properly
- Your system is now ready for storage
