How To Install A GPI Filter Kit On A GPRO V25 Fuel Transfer Pump

Just a few wrenches is all you need to install a filter kit on a V25 pump.

Here's 13 steps to install a GPI V25 Fuel Transfer Pump and GPI Filter Kit onto your tank. If you already have the pump with the nozzle holder in place, start at step 7.

Installing a GPI Filter Kit on V25 Fuel Transfer Pump

  1. Add thread tape to all threaded parts of the pump, hoses, suction pipes and adapters.
  2. Install the included bung adapter on the suction pipe and extend suction pipe to its full length
  3. Tightly install the bung adapter on the fuel tank.
  4. Install the pump on the bung adapter
  5. Tighten down the spin collar
  6. Attach the nozzle holder to the pump using a 4 mm hex wrench
  7. Install the o-ring to the pump outlet
  8. Install the quick fit filter adapter to the pump outlet using a 5 mm hex wrench
  9. Install the fuel filter and o-ring onto the adapter
  10. Attach the hose to the hose adapter
  11. Install the hose adapter onto the filter adapter with a 5 mm hex wrench
  12. Tighten the hose into the adapter to prevent leaks and drips
  13. Attach your nozzle to the hose
