How To Clean Or Replace Vanes On A GPRO V25 Fuel Transfer Pump

If you need to check on or replace the vanes in your V25 Fuel Transfer Pump, we have the guide for you to do that.

Here's a nine step walkthrough on how to clean or replace the vanes within your V25 fuel pump. Remember to wear properly fitting PPE when doing this task!

  1. Turn off the pump and disconnect from power
  2. Use a 6 mm hex wrench to remove the cover plate and o-ring
  3. Remove the shaft key, rotor and vanes from the pump cavity. Be careful to not drop the vanes or shaft key into the strainer cavity
  4. Inspect the o-rings and vane for wear, debris and damage
  5. Wipe the cavity and the components with a clean cloth
  6. To reassemble, place the rotor, vanes and shaft key in the cavity. Make sure the vanes are oriented with the flat side facing counterclockwise within the rotor.
  7. Lightly coat the o-ring with grease
  8. Re-insert the o-ring securely into its grooves
  9. Bolt the cover plate back into place. Ensure there are no gaps between the cover plate and the pump housing
