Cool that pump down with these cool tips
If your GPI pump is running hot, try these tips out to cool it off.
Before you start, check the pump model by checking the nameplate on the pump. Generally this located on the back of the motor or on top of the pump housing.
- Ensure you are not running your motor in bypass for more than 10 minutes or exceeding the pump's duty cycle for more than 30 minutes. Turn the pump off and allow it to cool down for 30 minutes before attempting to use again.
- Ensure the pumps strainer and suction pipe are clear of debris and damage. Use the links below to go to the walkthrough on how to check on your pump's strainer and replace if need be
